Christmas Gifts

OK So I can now post what I have been working on for about a week for my dear mom, she is a busy teacher and asked me if I would do these for her ... I of course said I would do them because ... well... I love to craft :) and help my mom. My most favorite part of this project was using my dads electric hand sander... Oh man I am IN LOVE! I used it to distress the edges and it did not disappoint I achieved the best distressed edges ever. OH Yes I will invest in one of those puppies one day :)

 The star on this one will be re done before we give it.The Silver paint wouldn't paint on thick so I thought that the silver glitter spray would cover over that and well it didn't SO old fashioned mod podge and loose glitter it is :)  It's for my cousin :)

 This one is my mom's

 I absolutely adore this one, I LOVE the penguins on the bottom.

Latest Crafts

Yup its been a while since I last posted SORRY! I have been working on a few things I have 2 of them finished which I will post tonight and then tomorrow I will post the Christmas presents I made for my mom to give out to her friends at work :) I would post them tonight but I don't want to blow the suprise incase one of her friends saw this before tomorrow.  ANYWAY. The first are my little ladybugs they aren't quite finished yet I have some embelishments I want to add to them but I thought I would share them anyway and then when they are finished I will share them again. :) then second I have a cute christmas stacker that I have spent way to much time deciding what I want them to say but once I figured it out I am quite happy with them. ( did that make sense?)

Button Bracelet = PAIN IN THE TUSHIE

Oh my goodness I saw this Button Bracelet on pinterest and I thought HA I can do that, well I CAN and DID do that but OH my goodness what a pain in the tushie it was it took me about 2-3 hrs to do it and by the end I was close to swearing, E wanted me to do her a black/white/red one after this one but I just couldn't stand the thought of doing another one so I gave this one to her :) SO if you have this pinned on your pinterest board to make just know that it looks easier than it is and you may end up swearing. Don't say I didn't warn you. Here are the pictures of mine.

Earrings and Antennas

Here are some pictures of the earrings that we made last week, E went a little crazy but that's OK, I made 2 pairs and she did the rest ( I did all the attaching of hooks).
Then we have a few pics of the antennas I had to re do to make them into ladybug antennas for Halloween.

Thanksgiving Posters

Christmas in October

Today we got some Christmas crafts done, it was super fun the SNOW blocks are my mom's I helped her a little bit with them and the Christmas tree is mine, the pictures don't do them justice they are much sparkly in real life. Enjoy! :)

A few new Posters :)

 Picnik is so dang fun, I have made a few new posters over the last few days, a few of them are close to the ones I have seen on Pinterest just because I love how they looked to begin with and a few I made up all on my ownsies :)

Feathered Hair Flower mania Part 1

Yup we are in love with making these hair flowers they are so quick and  easy to make, Stay tuned for part 2 of the mania we have some brightly colored fabric to use :) Sorry for the not so hot pictures I will work on that :)

Craft Night

So tonight we went to the ward craft night and we had so much fun, we made some cute Halloween blocks and I learned how to make the burned edged hair flowers ( I think that's what they are called) anyway here are a few pictures of what we made.

 We named them Meme the Mummy, Petey the Pumpkin and Frankie

Frames

So this weekend I had planned a couple of sewing projects, I started the first one on Friday night at ohhh about 11pm and well BAD IDEA I was to tired and I made dumb mistakes so I need to unpick it all and start over, SO on Saturday Roberts was having a 50% off your entire purchase deal going on so I picked up 5 frames and some scrapbook paper and decided that these would be a good craft to do even late at night when tired :)

These are pretty easy to do, all you do is paint your edges and then mod podge the scrapbook paper on

then sand the edges to get a worn/shabby look.

I may make some fabric flowers to go on one or two of them but I haven't quite decided about that yet.

This is how I will have them laid out on the wall and then I have a vinyl sign I need to get onto wood and all prettied up that will run down the left side of them, maybe that will be this weekend's project.

Posters

So ever since pinterest came out I have been pinning signs/posters, a few of them I have made out of vinyl one of which will be a future post, but the others I just keep looking at and wishing I had, WELL yesterday I found a tutorial on how to make posters in picnik and boy howdy I have been having fun I have made/recreated 28 HOLY COW!!!! Here are a few of my absolute favorites.
